Misdirection Enemies

This page contains additional information regarding the enemies in Misdirection and detailing their attacks.

SKELETON

SKELETON
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 1 life point from them.
SKELETON MAGE
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card as well as the player that went before this current player, removing 1 life point from each.
ASSASSIN
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 2 life points from them.
BRIGAND
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card as well as any other player of their choice for 1 life point each.
EVIL MAGE
  • Attacks the player that is the subject of a Misdirection, Reverse or a Skip for 1 life point. A player removes a life point:
    • If your turn is skipped by another player.
    • Another player plays a Reverse card and it’s your turn directly after the card is played.
    • A player plays a Misdirection card and chooses you to go next.
  • With an exception of the skip, players still get their turn after removing a life point.
CONJUROR
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 1 life point from them and changing the turn order, going the opposite direction.
TROLL
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 1 life point from them.
    • If the player plays a ‘Block the enemy attack’ card, the player can choose which other player is hit by the enemy attack – turn order does not change and continues with the next player from the one that played the Block card.
DRAGON
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 2 life points from them, players to the left and right also remove 1 life point each.
    • This effect does not stack, if there are only two players remaining, the player that played the card removes 2 life points and the other only removes 1 life point.

Shades of Death Enemies

GOBLIN
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 3 life points from them. If this does not kill the player:
    • If another player forced the ‘No Action’ card to be played; they receive 1 of the 3 life points removed, or:
    • If no player forced the ‘No Action’ card to be played (ie; the player only had ‘No Action’ cards to played – no other player gets any life points.
NECROMANCER
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 1 life points from them.
    • This enemy prevents all healing actions; any healing or life steal actions that are performed while this card is in play do not go the players, instead the life points are still removed and placed with the Necromancer card.
SHULK
  • Attacks the player that is the subject of a Misdirection, Reverse or a Skip for 2 life points. A player removes two life points if:
    • If your turn is skipped by another player.
    • Another player plays a Reverse card and it’s your turn directly after the card is played.
    • A player plays a Misdirection card and chooses you to go next.
  • With an exception of the skip, players still get their turn after removing a life point.
SUCCUBUS
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing all but 2 life points;
    • If the attacked player has 2 life points or less, they are killed instantly.
WRAITH
  • Attacks the player that plays a ‘No Action’ card, removing 1 life points from them and swapping cards with the next player.
    • The next player being the player who is going to have their turn directly after the current player.
